Run 3 Runners and Prices

Six runners: one free and five to buy with crystals. They all run, jump and switch sides exactly the same way, so choosing one is purely a matter of style.

All six runners and their prices

Run 3 has six runners. Pip is yours from the start, and the other five are bought with the crystals you collect while playing. Each one is built from simple shapes, with its own colors, its own silhouette and a short running animation, and the Runners screen shows it slowly turning so you can take a good look before you spend anything.

Moss100 crystals190 crystals

Comet250 crystals600 crystals

The full collection costs 600 crystals. Comet alone is more expensive than Nova, Bolt and Moss put together, which makes it a natural final goal.

Looks only, same handling

Runners are purely cosmetic. All six run at the same speed, jump the same way and switch sides exactly alike, and none of them has a special ability. A level you can clear with Pip plays out the same with Comet, so pick the runner you most enjoy watching. The runner you select is used in both Levels and Endless.

How to earn crystals

Crystals float above some of the tiles in both modes. Touch one to collect it; each is worth 1, and your total is saved between runs and shown on the start screen.

  • Levels. Each level has a fixed number of crystals in fixed places. The level complete screen shows how many you collected out of the total, and the level select keeps your best count for every level, so you can see where crystals are still waiting.
  • Replays. Layouts never change, so replaying a level you have already finished is a dependable source of crystals. You already know where the holes are and can concentrate on the crystals, and the ones you collect on a replay are added to your total too.
  • Endless. Crystals also appear along the generated tunnel, so the farther you run, the more of them you pass. The HUD counts the crystals from the current run, and the screen at the end of the run shows how many you got.

Buying and selecting

Press Runners on the start screen to open the Runners screen. It shows a rotating preview of each runner, and two buttons do the rest:

  1. Buy works once you have enough crystals. The price comes off your total, and the runner is yours to keep.
  2. Select makes a runner you own the one you play with.

Buying never locks you in. You can switch between any of the runners you own as often as you like, and switching costs nothing.

A sensible order

Because every runner handles the same, there is no wrong order. Going from cheapest to most expensive gives you something new early: Nova at 30 crystals is the first goal, and by the time you are saving for Echo and Comet you will probably be clearing longer levels and running farther in Endless. If one runner catches your eye, save straight for it instead; skipping the others costs you nothing.

If you clear your site data

Your crystal total, the runners you own and your selected runner are stored in your browser on this device, along with the rest of your progress. There is no account behind them, so:

  • Clearing this site's data resets your crystals to zero and leaves you with Pip only.
  • Clearing cookies or browsing history can include site data, so check what is selected before you confirm.
  • Each browser and device keeps its own save, and private windows usually forget it when you close them.
  • If your browser blocks site storage completely, the game still runs, but nothing is kept after you leave the page.
